Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Jon Bhandari Tools app (the "App") handles and how. The App is operated by Jon Bhandari Tools, Survey No.731/2, Near Madhavaram Main Circle, 200 Ft. Inner Ring Road, Madhavaram, Chennai 600060, Tamil Nadu, India ("we", "us").

The App is a product catalogue. You can browse and search it without creating an account or signing in, and it does not ask you for your name, phone number, email address or any other personal details.

Information the App handles

Catalogue requests. When you browse categories, open products or search, the App sends those requests (including your search terms) to our server so it can return results. These requests are not linked to your name or any account. Like most web services, our server may automatically record technical information with each request, such as your IP address, the time of the request and basic device or app details. We use this only for security and troubleshooting.

Information stored on your device. The App keeps a cache of product images on your device so that pages load faster. This cache contains only our catalogue images. You can clear it by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App.

Links to other apps. Tapping our address opens Google Maps, and tapping the developer link opens your web browser. Tapping our email address copies it to your clipboard; the App does not send it anywhere. Other apps and websites are governed by their own privacy policies. Any email you send us is handled like any other message to our business.

What we do not collect

• We do not require an account, and the App does not ask for any personal details.
• We do not use advertising identifiers, show ads or track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not use third-party analytics or crash-reporting services.
• The App does not access your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
• We do not sell any information.

Sharing

Our server is hosted by Syama Technologies, which develops the App for us. They process catalogue requests only to run the service on our behalf. We do not share information with anyone else, except where the law requires it.

Security

All communication between the App and our server is encrypted with HTTPS.

Retention

Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting, and are then deleted.

Your rights

If you have questions about any information we may hold about you, or want it corrected or deleted, email us at sales.jonbhandari@gmail.com. You may also have rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including the right to raise a grievance with us, and after that with the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

The App is a trade catalogue intended for business use and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

A future version of the App will add sign-in for our distributors. Before that version is released, we will update this policy to explain what information sign-in uses. We will post any updated policy at this page and change the effective date above.
